Who we are
About Us
Do No Harm is a collection of articles written by members of the medical field. Some are written for others in the profession, while others are intended for the general public. No articles are to be interpreted as medical advice; talk to your own doctor.
Our goal is to provide a platform for medical professionals interested in writing; publishing stories for people in our own community, as well as providing the general public a look into our world.

Become an Author
Do No Harm is a publication for medical professionals to use as a platform. The stories we publish can be aimed for medical audiences, so there is no need to explain commonly-used medical terms or abbreviations. The stories can also be aimed at the public; like an “open letter” to patients, or a story detailing your experiences in the medical field —or even a fictional story involving the medical world.

Article Submission
Our submission guidelines are simple.
- Obey patient privacy standards. Don’t write about an identifiable patient. No names (even fake names), no locations, ages, etc. Ideally, write generally — not about any one specific patient.
- Don’t give medical advice. You can discuss theories, or reference the recommendations of trusted organizations, but don’t outright give your own medical opinion or advice.
- Write authentically. Write with passion. Oh, and please proof your work before submission.
